My name is Michael Tilley, born and raised in London and I’ve always had a passion for creating art by hand. I attended Art College when I finished school and after that, I worked in hospitality for many years. I worked as a kitchen porter at British pubs and I asked my manager at the time, if I could practise working on the blackboards in between my split-shifts at work. This was when I discovered a love for creating Blackboard Art. 11 years later, I now work all over London and the rest of the UK with a team of artists that help when it’s needed. I’ve had my work published in 3 books, TV adverts and I regularly host in-person workshops as I thoroughly enjoy teaching people the craft. Most importantly, I hope you enjoy the course!
