Sachin Shah is a professional calligrapher and a lettering artist. He started learning calligraphy on his own in 1992 with just a Speedball Textbook and indigenous tools. With over 25 years of experience, Sachin has partnered with diverse global design agencies to create commissioned art work.

Ironically, Sachin is a computer science engineer by education and heads the global operations for an IT firm, but had a deep fascination and passion for letters ever since he was a child. He likes to experiment with traditional hands and often comes up with his own versions of styles and scripts.

Well conversant with most forms and scripts of Calligraphy, he has taught and mentored numerous students across the world. He is a co-editor of the 25th edition of The Speedball Textbook and part of the Calligraphy Masters crew.
